Court Refurbishment Project: All 28 courts now resurfaced!
We have been working hard for many years on our borough wide project and are delighted to have 28 newly resurfaced courts across the borough and 8 floodlit courts in King Georges Park at the heart of Wandsworth. This project has seen us invest over £600,000 in the courts and we look forward to welcoming everyone onto them.

The All Star Tennis Trust was set up by a group of Wandsworth players who were mindful of the positive experiences, opportunities and far reaching effects tennis had on their lives. They wished to share this with local children who were not usually able to access this wonderful sport. The inspiration behind the Trust was Sebastian Wray, who, after dedicating himself to tennis became the first beneficiary. He was awarded a grant to study at a Spanish tennis academy and has subsequently gone on to become a successful tennis coach at a local club. Over the last 10 years the work of the Trust has evolved and now also includes a Schools Outreach and Development Programme for local school children in Wandsworth together with the backing of the Thomas’s Foundation.
.. my children love the all stars classes. They have previously done tennis with a reputable club locally but they MUCH prefer allstars. I have also seen a marked improvement in their playing skill and enjoyment of playing tennis since they left the other club and joined all stars. Thank you!

I cannot thank the instructor, Finlay, enough for his patience, perserverance and skill in keeping a small group of boys motivated.

For my daughter's age, the themed fitness games keep her interested and I think you do a good mix of this & tennis technique.
My daughter had a fantastic time and when I watched some of the camp the coaches seemed to really be enjoying themselves as well.

My daughter is not very into sport but she came back from her first session with a huge grin, enthusiastic about tennis and her ability and asked if she could start weekly classes.
Daisy
The coach had a great rapport with the kids and made learning fun. We have already signed up for the term time course.

My 3 boys had a brilliant time at the Tooting tennis camp this week. They learnt so much, and had a lot of fun too. Their coach, Carlo, was brilliant with them, and I'd definitely recommend the All Star Tennis camps!

The Coach was great (Spanish lady), and it was fantastic being in such a small group.

It's been a fun term at tennis and I feel I have improved a lot. I live closer to other courts, but I'm a big fan of All Stars; the committed and professional coaches, and the lovely members makes me turn up in all sorts of weather!
Gina
The coaching team are highly qualified but also fantastic personalities and have really made this term great fun. Thankyou to them both.
I recently moved to Balham and finding the Sunday sessions at Tooting was great. I now play on Sundays whenever I can and know a group of lovely people locally so can usually get a game during the week too.

Its a great way to challenge myself and play matches against many other new players. I often get bored playing against players I know- we start to know how to beat each other!
