The All Star Tennis Trust was set up by a group of Wandsworth players who were mindful of the positive experiences, opportunities and far reaching effects tennis had on their lives. They wished to share this with local children who were not usually able to access this wonderful sport. The inspiration behind the Trust was Sebastian Wray, who, after dedicating himself to tennis became the first beneficiary. He was awarded a grant to study at a Spanish tennis academy and has subsequently gone on to become a successful tennis coach at a local club. Over the last 10 years the work of the Trust has evolved and now includes a Schools Outreach and Development Programme for local school children in Wandsworth together with the backing of the Thomas’ Foundation.
After countless training miles and warm up events Rob and Elliott will tackle the final 13 miles this weekend in a bid to raise some much needed funds & awareness for the All Star Trust!
