The court resurfacing work due to take place in Wandsworth Park has now been re-scheduled for the start of September. Having originally been planned for April this year the work was postponed due to large tree roots located close to the court. A solution has now been agreed and the work to bring local Wandsworth players a resurfaced court will take place next month.
Wandsworth Park will be the 28th court to be resurfaced as part of All Star Tennis project across Wandsworth that has seen over £500,000 be invested to resurface the courts and install floodlights for year round playing opportunities at King Georges Park.
