Coronavirus Update

Dear Players,

Due to the latest Coronavirus developments, and from monitoring further advice from the Government, LTA and Wandsworth Council, we are taking the following steps as of Saturday 5pm 21st March:

We are suspending the organised Adult and Junior All Star Tennis programme, group coaching, courses, camps and sessions until further notice.

What Tennis can I do?
Whilst All Star has suspended its organised large group activity, the Government have currently indicated that recreational exercise that takes place at a safe distance from others, and in safe exercise environments, is something that can continue during this period.

The venues will currently remain open for play in a safe manner for:

  • Court bookings for Pay and Play tennis
  • Individual lessons
  • Small group and family lessons
These are challenging times for us all, and our priority is everyone’s health and safety. We would like to take this moment to thank you all for your continued support of All Star, it is very much appreciated.

We will provide credit on your account for all courses, sessions and camps that are cancelled due to the Coronavirus. This credit will have no expiry date, and you can rebook by contacting the team. We will notify you when we are able to restart our coaching programmes.

We have seen an upsurge in court booking this week, with so many of you looking for a way to enjoy sport safely. The All Star team will be looking for creative ways to keep you playing in a safe manner during this outbreak. We believe it is important to stay active where possible, and running around in the fresh air on court is, of course, a great way to do so.

Things to note if playing tennis

  • Using hand washing and or sanitiser, both before and after your game, is a must and we are providing sanitiser at each staffed venue
  • Avoid shaking hands and high fives
  • Do not share equipment
Guidance with regard to advised social distancing measures (defined by Public Health England as spending more than 15 minutes and within a 2-metre distance talking to someone) is provided on the Government website.

Thank you for your patience and support through these testing times. We will keep you updated as things develop. We are aware that we have a role to play in keeping the community active where we can, now and in the coming challenging months, and look forward to playing our role to support the community.

We are proud of our team for the great work that they do on and off the court. We will do everything we can to protect their futures and will come through this with you together.

Please contact us via info@allstartennis.co.uk or on 020 8871 4706 if you have any questions or for booking individual or family lessons. To book courts please click the button below.
