Since meeting on their first day at senior school in 1986, the Founders of All Star Tennis, Ben Jackson (BenJ) and Ben White (BenW) have remained firm friends with a passion for sport.
Studying Sports Science (BenJ) and Leisure Management (BenW) and both attaining the LTA Club Coach/Level 4, their future business direction was perhaps inevitable.
BenJ competed at County level for Somerset as a junior. He is a qualified yoga instructor and worked with many high level performance junior players creating a yoga based training programme for their specific needs. BenJ overseas the coaching programme and development including schools programmes and coach training.
BenW competed in tournament level tennis and football, winning European honours in Stuttgart 95 with “The Wessex All Stars”. The team name was the inspiration for the All Star Tennis company we know today. A qualified Sports Therapy masseur BenW worked for the ATP Tour in the players’ treatment room at the Queens Club. His role at All Star Tennis is now focused on bringing a great experience to players on and off the court.
Both Bens’ careers have been largely in grass roots tennis, working particularly with sports development and schools. In addition, they have enormous experience in delivering a wide range of sessions from toddlers to adults. With 40 years of coaching experience between them, they together in 1999 formed All Star Coaching and the All Star Tennis as we know it today.

Maria has lots of coaching experience as well as playing internationally as a Junior. She brings her enjoyment and enthusiasm of the game to the court and is a great motivator. Maria’s experience as a player, competitor and coach enables her to teach with a player-centered approach catering to each individual’s goals and abilities.

Jay is an experienced sports coach who started off as a competitive professional. To this day he trains hard so he knows a thing or two about what it takes to get the most out of your body and mind! Jay is full of energy and will insure you enjoy yourself as you improve and develop your skills.

Matt has been coaching over 10 years and has vast experience coaching both kids and adults of beginners through to advance. He recently returns to All Star after running his own coaching business in New Zealand. His passion for tennis is infectious and he is most satisfied when players walk off the court wanting more. - Hugh JohnCoach: All Wandsworth locationsHugh played competitively as a youngster and started coaching at the age of 15yrs.He believes in pushing players to their maximum potential but believes in keeping it enjoyable at the same time.Hugh “If you’re not tired at the end of a coaching session, I’ve failed.”
- Rob BaranCoach: All wandsworth locations
Rob is a great motivator and is very passionate about improving players of all standards and ages by targeting 4 elements of the game: Technical, Tactical, Mental and Physical. Allowing players to goal set and achieve measurable results at their own pace. Rob is available for coaching most weekdays and weekends.
- Leititia KrugerCOACH: ALL WANDSWORTH LOCATIONS
Letitia is a South African coach with more than 10 years experience in taking players through the pathways of development starting at 2 years old to tournament ready. She competed in national junior tournaments and also represented her university. She specialises in combining strategies and biomechanics to develop holistic players and giving players the necessary mental and physical tools to apply these skills in match play situations.
- Jamie StaggCOACH: ALL WANDSWORTH LOCATIONS
Jamie is a passionate lacrosse and tennis coach who started coaching with All Star in 2015 after completing a degree in Sports Science. Having coached university teams and within schools Jamie believes players learn best when having fun and being challenged.
- Matt MauduitCOACH: TOOTING & WANDSWORTH COMMONS
Matt has been coaching for 10 years and is now about to complete his LTA level 4 qualification. Matt is also a qualified ski instructor! While tennis and skiing may be completely different, training and becoming qualified in both has given Matt a unique understanding of how people learn. With this, his sessions will be tailored to each individual no matter what age or playing level.

As the son of a tennis coach, tennis was always going to play a part in Dylan’s life. Being a coach that comes from many different sports, most of Dylan’s coaching techniques come from a footwork and body positioning stand point. Dylan loves working with every age group and all levels. Having a laugh on court whilst getting the best tennis outcome is his philosophy!

Joel is a level 4 LTA coach with a Masters degree in Sports science. Joel has coached in Hungary, Spain and in the UK for the last 10 years and he is experienced in leading performance programmes , as well as coaching recreational tennis.

Alo Raptopoulos is a certified UK Yoga Alliance Yoga Instructor, who has trained in Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga for over 14 years. She likes to share her experience and knowledge to support others’ inspirational journey and personal development. Her flexible style can adapt to wide range of audiences and practitioners, from athletes and sports professionals to those who prefer a more restorative approach to yoga. She seeks to empower anyone who wishes to improve their emotional well-being, performance and physical health through yoga practice and its transformative impact on both body and mind.
